  1. Their entire site would become the Heat Index if LeBron, Melo, Wade, and Bosh were all on the team.
  2. Wouldn't say "likely", it's just some arbitrary rumor. It would be hilarious if it happened though, because ESPN would turn into the official network of the Miami Heat, and the butthurt from other basketball fans would be glorious.
  3. Let's not jinx the living f*** out of tonight's game, huh?
  4. VA didn't attack you Fred. Not in this thread at least. And FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME, whining about someone not hitting with RISP is as ridiculous as... whining about someone not hitting with RISP. It's f***ing luck. The fact that anyone who disagrees with that has literally no other response than to start typing up their baseball resume for us speaks volumes.
  5. This is all over the internets, so I might as well annoy everyone and post it here too: My team would be: Pippen ($1), Jordan ($5), Bird ($4), Duncan ($3), Olajuwon ($1), with $1 left over for a snack I guess.
  6. What they should do is perform the entire lottery process in public, in front of the cameras, so that there's no possible way to accuse them of fixing it. Doing it in a closed-off back room isn't exactly adding to their credibility. Other than that I don't have an issue with the process, although it is unfortunate that top talent keeps getting wasted on an inept slagheap of a franchise like the Cavs. Ideal 1-2-3 for me would have been Celtics 1 and the Sixers and Lakers at 2 or 3. That would have set the league up pretty well for the long term, assuming no one s*** the bed.
  7. Dojji was actually pretty down on Nava this offseason IIRC.
  8. Only if Cherington listens to the peanut gallery and does something stupid to try and salvage 2014.
  9. The Red Sox fan in me wants this team to win (obviously), but the ridiculous things that get written when they lose makes me not mind it as much as I should.
  10. Trade him for Carl Crawford! We need proven hitting!
  11. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm192/vivailmanzo/SewerHorse.jpg He returns!
  12. It's definitely a good time for some short-sighted trades!
  13. Damn Ben the Boob and his bargain shopping!
  14. The Spurs raped them in the first two games in 2012 as well.
  15. I've wanted Rondo moved for a while now. Still want him moved unless we can get Love.
  16. The only difference between a 20 win team and 35-40 win team is the amount of opportunities you get to turn things around. The 20 win team will get many, the 35-40 win team will get very few and be stuck in Pistonsville forever.
  17. Gordon and Vonleh are guys who have "athleticism" and "upside" and literally nothing else. Classic bust material. Exum is a top 4 lock unless he pulls a Kobe and forces his way to LA somehow. Randle is definitely redundant for us, although he could be an attractive post-Love PF for the Wolves. I think Smart's the best pick if we keep it, he's tough and he knows how to play.
  18. Minnesota has to trade him somewhere, because he's gone after next season one way or the other. We can deal draft picks more comfortably than most everyone else thanks to the extra ones we got in that Garnett/Pierce trade that Palodios is so sad about (I feel you champ, I was really looking forward to that 38 win season too).
  19. Because we wouldn't be complete garbage with them in tow anyway.
  20. Actually we have 6, not 7. That's a bit better. Now we get one of Wiggins, Parker, Embiid (none of which are likely), Exum (slightly less unlikely), Randle, and Smart. I hope Danny doesn't blow his load on Vonleh or Gordon, they are busts in the making. Trading it for Love looks like the way to go though.
  21. Oh yeah, I'm devastated that we didn't have KG and Pierce hobbling up and down the court again this year. Those extra 15 wins would've been soooooooooooooo awesome!
  22. Cleveland gets number one again... It's cool, they'll probably take Aaron Gordon or someone ridiculous with it.
  23. 7th pick. f*** this s***.
  24. Not at the cost of Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, or Exum. Love + Rondo is a second round combination at best without another big piece that we may or may not have the ammo to go get. However, if we remain at 6 (or get bumped further down) and are stuck looking at the Julius Randles and Noah Vonlehs of the world, then yeah go for it.
