  1. Scutaro has been on fire this month so honestly I can't blame him for that. Yeah a hit woulda been nice, but Salty is just doing terrible that I would probably pinch hit there. Reddick anyone maybe for that spark after Drew gets a nice hit. Everyone knew including Salty that he would K.
  2. ^ exactly. McDonald is terrible and Scutaro is not much better
  3. Yeah I know McDonald wouldn't be batting that high, but he bats regularly against lefties and plays the outfield. Crawford still bats for sure against lefties, but Reddick usually sits, I don't know when Drew is coming back but he is a leftie too. I don't know if I am forgetting someone but I am pretty sure that McDonald would be that righty bat against a left hander.
  4. I mean if this is the lineups that we use in the playoffs. McDonald is going to be getting all the AB's against lefties right? That is not a good guy to have. Pick up a right handed outfielder to face the lefties because I only trust McDonald to hit groundballs
  5. Yeah Darnell McDonald is not good. There has got to be someone on the waiver wire/even in minors that can hit better then him. He had a good weekend in KC but still.
  6. I came to this website hoping to find a thread about this. Does anyone think Crawford needs to be up in the order or fine where he is now? I personally want him higher. At least right now I think he should be in the 2 spot, or at least the 5 spot! I don't get the rationale behind hitting him 7th. Yes I know he has struggled this season but it is still Carl Crawford! He is fast and maybe batting him ahead of guys like Scutaro and Reddick would show him that the management believes in him (Kinda too strong of words there) He doesn't really get to do much when he is batting in between guys that usually end innings or when he comes up with 2 outs. Just my two cents.
  7. What is wrong with Youk, I missed it.
  8. What was the season series between the Sox and the Yanks
  9. Ok I haven't been on this board in a long time, and may have missed the talk about this guy. But I need to know....where is he? Is he out for the season? What is happening? Thank you.
  10. There we go that was a big hit once again!
  11. I am in shock about their closer sucking so bad. He hasn't blown a save since July 1. WOw.
  12. He gave up 6 runs and there really should be only 1 out.
  13. Ha ha ha ha ha are you kidding me...this Francisco guy is terrible!!!!
  14. Gosh Francona can breathe easy from a barrage of questions about what a bad call he made taking Buchholz out there. Has Francisco really given up 5 hits this inning wow!
  15. Well nevermind then way to go Victor what an AB!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  16. Yeah and then it wasn't caught so he should have scored. its not that hard to understand he started running back to second when the guy didn't make the catch.
  17. Was I the only one that saw that Buchholz had no idea what he was doing he started going back to second base and then hesitated again. That was clearly on Francona cause Varitek doesn't make that mistake as a guy who has been running bases for his whole career and Buchholz who has never done it.
  18. I mean I understand why they did it, but how could Buchholz still not get from third to home when itw as that deep. He must have been slower.
  19. Quick inning there...oh wait there was a bomb!
  20. If anyone is watching the game on ESPN then I hope they just saw Rick Sutcliffe do the "shocker" on TV. Hilarious.
