    Wilson Betemit has been activated from the disabled list and Alberto Gonzalez has been sent down to make room on the roster.

    Oh i did not realize that he had accepted assignment to AAA. Anyway, I doubt that the Rockies will be offering anything of significant value and unless they do, i think it would be a good move to keep Tavarez here.

    As much as i don't like Tavarez, he does a decent job at saving the other pitchers arms during a blowout. With the loss of Snyder he is really the only one who can come in a give 3 or 4 innings. I think that he is important to have around since our some of our rotation (lester, Dice-K, and Wakefield) have shown that they can be wild and chased from the game early. Tavarez may not be great, but he is an important piece of the pen.

    We're going to need a long outing from Wakefield tonight with the back end of the bullpen gassed. Hopefully the offense can come out firing tonight against Robertson to help us avoid any situation where Timlin would need to pitch in a tight game.

Papa John's pizza offended Lebron by making t-shirts with "crybaby" on them and when they realized that it was offensive decided to sell customers a large pizza for 23 cents (Lebrons #) to make up for it. They will be donating all this money to the Cavs Youth fund. Sounds like a good deal for Cleveland fans lol

    This was an ugly win tonight, but a win nonethless. Dice-K's control problems are a little concerning and I hope that Francona doesn't give up on Hansen because of this outing. On a positive note, Ortiz is definetly returning to form and that can only be good news for this inconsistent offense and Papelbon still looks as dominant as ever.

    Way too many pitches for Lester. Hes at 42 now and its only the second inning. Hopefully he can settle down. On a side note, i'm really starting to like this camera angle from NESN. Its so much better to tell what is and isn't a strike.

Apparently Harrison owns and has registered many guns to his name and on ESPNEWS they are saying that the gun used in the shooting was Harrisons. It is not confirmed who the shooter is, but if the gun is Harrison's he will automatically be charged. I'm pretty surprsied by this because it always seems like Harrison is a quiet guy who minds his own business.

    The early struggles for the Yanks continue. I can't help but be suspicious about this injury, and i wonder if it is being exagerated so that Hughes can go back down to the minors and work on his stuff.
