    A few nights ago I re-watched the "Four Days in October" 30 for 30 about the 2004 Sox run. Then I remembered how much fun Red Sox baseball used to be. I miss those days.

    When comparing the two, I think everyone hates Beckett more right now because Lackey is out for the year and hasn't given us any ammo since last season. That said, I can't stand either and would love to just cut our losses and get some guys who actually give a s*** on this team. I would much rather have a guy who works hard and genuinely cares who has a 4.00+ ERA than someone like Beckett who just walks off the mound and it doesn't phase him. I hate this season so much.

    I was so pumped that Bradley fell to us in the draft last year. The only reason he went as low as he did was that he constantly battled injuries in his senior season at South Carolina. Being an SEC guy I kept up with him during his college days and saw him play live and he is a player. If he had come out as a junior a few years ago he'd probably have been a top ten pick. Definitely a guy to get excited about.

    What are the chances we could move the draft to say, a Sunday or Monday night? I know I won't be able to do it on a Saturday. For me the later at night the better.

    A little late but I wanted to say congrats to SFoC. Great job (again) this year. I believe I've now faced you in the finals 4 times - 3 in football (1-2) and once in baseball (0-1). Good job.

    I think Texas is toast tomorrow night. They had their chance (twice) and blew it... I just don't think they recover from that. That was brutal. Meanwhile, St Louis finds a way to win no matter what. I absolutely think the Cardinals win Game 7.

    This is a whole other topic unto itself, but I wouldn't be shocked if Theo bolted for the Cubs. I would at lest expect Chicago to come after him hard.

    I'm not sure Remy would be interested, and you also have to take his health into consideration. As for Torre, I'm pretty confident he's done managing. He's got a nice easy gig working for MLB in New York, and I think he's cool with that.

    Tito's done some great things during his eight years here, but given what's taken place in the last month, I think it's time. I kind of expected this, just didn't know how soon it would happen.
