    Pitchers and catchers report a week from tomorrow so we're getting closer.

    Schilling is a professional. I really doubt he'd let himself get "woefully" out of shape.

    I believe anyone who played for the Sox during the '04 season got a ring.

    When I was younger my neighbor was in the Red Sox farm organization. He got in an accident and lost a leg and it ended his career.

    Papi's a Colts fan? I thought he was a Packers fan.

    I don't know a whole lot about Drew so I can't comment on him. But I think there are more positives than negatives about Lugo. His speed will help him get on base if he bunts or hits an infield grounder. He can disrupt the pitcher's rhythm because he's a threat to steal. And his speed will help him get to the ball quicker and maybe make some outs that would have been hits with Gonzalez at short. Time will tell.

    Grady Little commented on the Lugo signing and said that his potential was never realized in LA because he went from playing everyday in TB to a part-time player. The Lugo that played for the Dodgers was far from the same player that played for the Rays.

    I live in Florida and I've watched Lugo play for the Rays for a few years. The guy's a scrapper. His fielding is no where near as good as Gonzo's and I'm hoping his offense makes up for it. He hit pretty good at Fenway. It will be nice to have some speed on the bases. I'm really looking forward to seeing him do well in Fenway.

    This sucks! I was thinking of getting MLB extra innings this year so I can catch the Sox games.
