  1. Im suprised that Dice-K walks the first 3 batters he sees and we score 2 runs and win. Impressive.
  2. I love the intensity on this guy. He definently brings some intimidation to the mound.
  3. I do love watching Tavarez pitch, especially when there is a double play and he points to everyone
  4. Looking at his numbers he has got to be in the Hall of Fame.
  5. Lester has Major League experience and Pedrioa had no experience this time last year. This is a very different situation. We know Lester can perform and be effective.
  6. I guarentee that Manny won't swing at 3-0
  7. AL MVP: A-Rod Cy Young: Beckett Rookie of the Year: Pedrioa NL MVP: Prince Fielder Cy Young: Jake Peavy
  8. Red Sox will win in ten. 7-5.
  9. That would be frigin amazing if he pitched that day. He'd be back near his home in Washington.
  10. We're 4-1 in our last 5 games, that is a good pace.
  11. This could open up the door for Lester if Schillings shoulder continues to bother him. Also, this could hurt Curt's chances of resigning next year if his shoulder becomes a concern for the rest of the season.
  12. This was the first game in a while when the teams offense wasn't carried by one or two players. Great game, I hope we can carry the momentum into Atlanta.
  13. I learned something very valuable tonight. If I ever get a blister, I just have to mix aspirin with red bull to make it heal faster. :courtesy of Julian Tavarez
  14. He was very impressive going 5 for 5 tonight. I can tell that he has become the hitter he had been projected to be, possibly even better. He struggled in April, but that is what to expect from a rookie. He is on the fast train now. I hope he continues this down the stretch and I think he will.
  15. The Yanks have a somewhat of a mildly easy schedule coming up. They have the Mets at home, Then they travel to the West to take on the rockies and the Giants, then to Balimore. Then they take a final trip home before the All-Break facing Oakland, Minnesota, and the Angels. In that 22 game span they'll take probably 13. The Sox on the other hand have a bit harder upcoming schedule. Giants this weekend, Travel to Atlanta, San Diego, and to Seattle to face the red hot Mariners. Then we have a homestand against Texas and Tampa Bay, than our final match up before the allstar break is at Detriot. I think we'll take 13, same as the Yankees. If this holds to be true we'll be up 7.5 games at the All-Star break and that is nothing to complain about. I'm sure if Drew, Lugo, and/or Coco do not produce by then Theo will make some moves to keep us ahead.
  16. I don't see the White Sox parting ways from their young lefty hurler.
  17. I'm sorry, but you think too highly of yourself.
  18. Adam, i am impressed. Capitalization, punctuation; great job man. Keep it up.
  19. He's having a great season despite that.
  20. I'm interested to see what the lineup will look like with Ortiz, Lowell, and Youk, all on a hot streak. Sox win in 10; 9-6
  21. I never agreed with signing Lugo. We should have resigned Loretta and let Pedrioa go back to his original position, Shortstop.
