    I think WMP shouldn't be on our team 1 day longer. He does absolutely NOTHING to contribute to this team. I dont care about people that like him or think he has potential. He is doing nothing for the team, therefore you cut him. Period. Last year was a false glimer of hope. Pitchers now know how to pitch him and he will never be productive here. I don't care what he does on other teams. He will never be productive for the Sox in the AL East, there for you trade him. If he was defensively sound or had good speed, I'd be more adp to stick with him, but he doesnt have a single good atribute. Terrible defense, speed, hitting skills, and no baseball smarts. Bring up Murphy please. This being said, he probably will have a good game or 2, and hit a few more homers. In the law of averages, he will have a few good games, but its the average that matters, and more than on average, WMP is and will be terrible and will not help our team win.

    wow, he did something just about every major league player, including NL pitchers, do in every atbat... It was one at bat for him... not the norm...

    Right... He laid off pitches that were no where near the strike zone. I think anyone in baseball could have gotten a walk there... It was the pitchers mistake that 'sparked' the rally, not anything that WMP did...

    Bosox, I know, I just going to a bit of extreme. I would still start him for a few more weeks, but giving more playing time to Cora. If he doesn't start hitting by the end of May, you have so start thinking about moving him back to the minors.
