    No, he's below average SS. As I said, I'm fine with a SS that can't hit, so long as they are exceptional defensively. Lugo SUCKS defensively. He's horrible. And offensively, well, he's pretty bad. I loved Gonzalez because he was a gold glove calibre SS. You have to be able to field or hit, or at least be average at both. Lugo is below average at both. And your right, I don't like average players. The only average players that should be on a big market team are rookies and cheap fill-ins. Lugo is neither.

    I don't have anything against him personally, I just don't like him as a major league player. He has no plus tools other than speed. I like Defense at SS, or at least some pop if the guy is just average at D. Lugo sucks defensively and offensively. I don't like average guys unless they really contribute to the team or are characters/etc. Millar wasn't a great player, but he was a character and I liked him because of that. Granted, I also realized Millar's time was up and he couldn't cut it in Boston, but I liked the guy.

    ORS, I realize that, I was making a point. You can look it at however you like. I care more about the sample size. He is hitting under .200 this season. Sure, you could say he is 3 for his last 8, but which is more relevent?...

    Schil, I don't like him. I never did, I probably never will. I won't root for a guy JUST because he's a Red Sox. If he is good, fine. If he is average AT BEST through his career and sucks ass here, well, f*** him. And again, I have never liked him. And also I can't stand the fact that the Sox are paying him $8 million a year. He isn't worth $1 million.

    The fireworks were even better live. Why would anyone watch fireworks on TV? You might as well just watch an action movie for explosions.

    Talk about polar opposite innings. Beckett strikes out the side then the sox run Howell out in 2/3 putting up 6 runs. I like, I like.

    I have always said that there must have been something wrong with Coco last year/the beginning of '07. When healthy, Coco is a good hitter.

    Yea, they brought Jacoby up too early. 2 for 2 with 2 walks, a SB, 2RS, and scoring on a pass ball from 2nd. He's definitely not ready...
