    I really don't see any reason to replace him right now. As long as he can still play quality defense behind the plate, he is too valuable to let walk just because he only hits 1 out of 4. It's not like there is a lineup of quality every day catchers available. I don't see why people are trying to rush him out the door, even if he is losing his offensive game, he still ranks as one of the best offensive cathcers.

    Timlin was just placed on the DL retroactive to 3/20, so we get to hang on to all three until the Toronto series.

    Damn. Backup cather certainly isn't a glory position, but Mirabelli played it and played it well. I thank him for his many years with the Sox, and I will miss him.

    Just let him stay home for the Japan series. Hopefully he can be ready for opening day in the states.

    What's not to like? Anything we can get out of him would be a plus.

    I've never really liked Coco, but you have to admit his fielding is always phenomenal. He always plays 110% and you have to atleast appreciate that, even if he struggles at the plate. That being said I wonder if Coco would settle for a platoon situation? Maybe 300 ABs and a late defensive replacement when he doesn't start?

    This offseason felt short relative to one's in the past. Glad that it is here though. Can't wait till opening day, and it should be exciting to see some of the question marks unfold.

    There are just too many unexplainable inconsistencies on Roger Clemens' side. I never beleived him, and after today, I might even beleive him less due to Pettite's deposition. He still has no reason why Pettite "misremembered" their conversation and it's been exposed that his cover up about his wife could not have been true.
