Cito Culver and Rob Segedin were promoted to SI as well. Culver has seen his BA improve from July to August. His patience for the yr is pretty good as his average is tolerable as well. His power has been pretty late to the party, but he is just 17 and is not a "now" power kind of player. The expectation is that Culver will probably stay at SI this yr and will probably start off there next yr as well. The Yankees typically take a 30 day eval period where they dont tinker with anything, then start tinkering with swings and approaches. Seems Culver is responding to his changes, but he's got a long way to go.
Segedin was in the GCL mostly to get comfortable again after taking the summer off to recoup from a back injury. It took only two games. He went 0fer in game 1, then went 2 for 5 with a bomb in game 2, so they moved him up.
