so was I. This is a MUCH bigger game for Texas than it is for NY. The Yankees must win 1 of 2 in Texas before they go back to NY. A loss tonight would require a win tomorrow. A win tonight, would make tomorrow less urgent. We cannot go back to NY down 2-0 ready to face Lee. That cannot happen

Well, maybe. Pettitte threw like a champ last game out, but he is a lefty vs a murderers row of righties and he is coming off an injury. Hughes made a good lefty lineup look stupid. I think he can be pretty effective out of Yankee Stadium against this lineup.

The Rangers really only have one left handed slugger in Hamilton. Otherwise, Guerrero, Young, Cruz, Molina, Andrus on the right hand side. I dont have a problem with it

They want to break up the lefties and keep Hughes from the stadium. I dont have a problem with it, but if they were so adamant, they should have done it in the first round too

BSN, there are certain cities that have just given up on baseball. Case in point, the Rays team in Tampa had the best record in all of baseball and couldnt fill up half their stadium down the stretch. -
My prediction prior to the playoffs was a Rangers-Phillies WS. But the Yankees looked dominant in Minnesota. Lets just say I am cautiously optimistic in my Yanks
