  1. Robbie is on everything. And, the yankees played situational ball there with Berk bringing the run home.
  2. CC gets out of it. He isnt dominating by any means, but he is locating much better this time around. If we dont blow this thing open here, I think about pulling him after 6. I go Wood in the 7th and Rivera for 8 and 9.
  3. Well, our offense is kicking serious ass tonight. Good. We arent missing the pitches tonight.
  4. shouldnt happen again. Game 6 is on a night when the NLCS is off and if there is a Game 7, I am pretty sure it would be the night game (same night as Game 6 of NLCS)
  5. CC looking like a beast again through 4 innings. NICE! It's good to see the Yanks taking it to a pitcher the second time around.
  6. I think most any ballplayer has had that happen to them before. Nothing is worse than having your head aiming into the air and all of a sudden the legs go out. It's a creepy free-falling feeling and you dont know whether to tighten up or try to roll over
  7. I step out for 10 minutes and we go back to back. Sweet!
  8. Yes!! Solid work CC. 3-0 going to bottom 3.
  9. 3-0 lead with CC actually looking okay. It is imperative to shut them down this inning. Gotta send this thing back to Texas
  10. http://www.bizofbaseball.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4774:phillies-highest-yankees-lowest-for-lcs-ticket-prices-on-resale-market&catid=56:ticket-watch&Itemid=136 You were right. This is on resale
  11. I dont think so. Those were the numbers I saw on ESPN as well. For some reason, the Yanks tix were the cheapest of the 4 teams. Philly averaged over $500 a ticket.
  12. http://music.einnews.com/pr-news/187000-even-alcs-ticket-prices-are-bigger-in-texas-
  13. Yep, dribbler up the middle, Andrus takes forever to get there, boots it, then throws him out by a full step. Ridiculous
  14. The Tix arent even that expensive believe it or not. The average Yankee playoff ticket is the cheapest of the remaining teams. $250 a seat, which isnt too bad considering its the playoffs.
  15. Double play! Bout f***ing time
  16. CC starting off well again
  17. If CC is going right, he can hand the ball right to Wood and then Mo. The problem is, we have scored 5 runs in our last 3 games against Lee then 2 obvious studs, f***ing Colby Lewis and Tommy Hunter. I know we cannot hit Lee, and that is understandable. The fact that we have sucked major ******* against 2 barely above average pitchers is a f***ing joke.
  18. Well, we have the right guy on the hill. But with our offense being a pile of suck, it might not matter
  19. They did get hit pretty hard. But you cannot say they'd react the same way if they had a lead. It's a different set of circumstances. Recently, the pen has been lights out. And you have a starter on the hill who nobody has any confidence in who gives you 5 solid innings. You might want to cash out
  20. Dude, our team is in the ALCS right now and yours hasn't played a meaningful game in 3 months. I just don't see how u can be talking s***
  21. So we're pretty much dead now. Down 3-1 needing CC and Hughes to shut down this buzzsaw of a lineup just to earn a rematch with Lee on his home turf. Girardi f***ed us in the ass tonight. You get 5 solid innings from Burnett and you have a pretty good pen. Not sure how you leave him in for the sixth after he allows the leadoff runner to reach. Now we lose Tex probably for the season and our offense outside of Jeter has been garbage.
  22. The Phillies must go to Halladay tomorrow and in game 7. They cannot go down 3-1 against that rotation.
  23. Look at the posts above before you respond. The idea that Theo is going to get the green light to pull Lee away from NYY is ridiculous. I will tell you this much. If NY loses this series and if Lee wins a deciding game 7, there is no way in hell the Yankees lose him to any team. Nothing adds zeroes to the paycheck like knocking out the biggest wallets in the game on a postseason run
  24. A game 7 against Lee is decidedly in the Rangers favor. If this thing goes to game 7, we are in trouble. We must now win the next 3. Tonight will be the toughest.
