  1. Beckett has learned how to pitch while still having his good stuff. Lots of pitchers learn how to pitch when their stuff starts to diminish, but his injuries have given him time to hone his craft and lessen his workload.
  2. Tex 1 away from the league lead in HRs and 8 RBI away from AdGon.
  3. If he reworks his delivery to avoid injury, there is a chance he can injure something else. It's a freak thing, you deal with it and move on.
  4. who can barehand a ball every now and then and win some web gems
  5. cause you are an idiot. Okay, lets go back to the old way and look at fielding percentage. http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/fielding/_/position/ss/league/al/order/truets He's 8th in the AL. Aside from an occasional flashy play to appease the short bus riders in Cleveland, he has no grounds taking home the hardware
  6. Hughes is economical, painting the black, getting grounders, making hitters miss. Good to see he still has it, would love to see him continue it vs the sox
  7. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=ss&stats=fld&lg=all&qual=y&type=1&season=2011&month=0&season1=2011&ind=0 Alexei Ramirez and Alcides Escobar are the best fielding SS's by UZR. Jeter is a better SS than Cabrera by UZR. It's more than flashy plays
  8. http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/stats/_/id/28671/type/fielding/asdrubal-cabrera You are a dumbass. That was his 12th
  9. Is it just me, or does Tito always seem to rest one of his starters when Beckett starts. I know he likes McDonald, but he is not as good as Reddick right now.
  10. Hughes does look really good. Last game was a step forward apparently with his stuff, then it tailed off. Now, he's thrown 5 solid innings with good stuff. Now is not a bad time for Hughes to find himself
  11. Hughes with the gasface to beckham.
  12. Tex goes deep, 4-0. Hopefully Hughes can keep this up
  13. Sorry, I was following on gamecast since the Yankee game is on. Gamecast had Tek safe initially
  14. first was occupied and there was less than 2 outs, how is tek not out?
  15. I was working during his last start, but Kay is talking about that now. Apparently inning #3 was when the wheels fell off vs Seattle. We'll see how he is next inning
  16. Not sure you're watching, but Hughes looks amazing right now. 93-95 with an actual curveball. Not sure if he is just letting it fly or if he's finally recovered, but he looks like he did at the beginning of last yr, even if it is only 2 innings
  17. Where has this Hughes been all yr? 94 and 95mph with a real curveball? WTF?
  18. This ump is giving the corner like nobody's business. Strike 2 to Tex wasnt even close
  19. Suns, do you find it weird that your parents and possibly your grandparents havent experienced a title?
  20. Kipnis!!! RAGE!!! INDUNS ROOOL!!! /sunsimitation
  21. Carlos Paniagua's contract was voided today and MLB has suspended him for another year. MLB is keeping a tight lip, so unsure of why, but this kid must have made some serious lies. Hell, he might be 30 for all we know
  22. I was certain you were gonna get banned last night
  23. he said he'd rather be dealt than called up
