  1. Might be time to phantom injury Perez and bring Barnes back. Cannot be worse
  2. Disagree with Baker keeping this kid in. Might need him for a few innings game 7
  3. Maldonado should just be listed as an auto out.
  4. Holding back Houck hurt a lot yesterday. You never hold for tomorrow if you can win today
  5. Wrong again. Yanks were lucky to make the POs this year and anything can happen in a one gamer. I posted in the second win (worked the first one). But I don’t need to justify to a piss ant like you. You’re the biggest fair weather fan there is.
  6. So it’s only trolling when I come in her when you’re losing, what is it when I post while you’re winning? You are funny and showing your colors as a terrible loser. It’s baseball, it happens and heck, this doesn’t even eliminate you!
  7. Not true at all. You’d like to run into me on the street? What are you, 10? Total idiot.
  8. Do you have any other words in your vocabulary or are you enjoying your own echo?
  9. Not trolling. Pointed something out then you fair weather Nancy’s brought out the claws
  10. Lol, can’t believe I’m actually rooting for the asterisks.
  11. I said prior to this game this was a must win for the Astros. You got Nate for game 6. Assuming Houston closes this out, I do anticipate this going the full slate
  12. Sox are one game from joining them
  13. Absolutely incredible the reversal of momentum
  14. “I had a really good sign but the Astros stole it!” Lol, awesome sign!
  15. To a degree. This is the thing, the sox have changed their stripes many times over the past 20 years. Theo, Cherries, DD, Bloom. The Yanks haven't. Same GM, same president of baseball ops. Listen, if Hal canned Cash, brought in Neidert from TB and publicized a process of value and still spending on big guys, then so be it. But to keep rolling out Cashman after failure after failure and taking away his biggest team building advantage ($$$) is disingenuous to fans
  16. But the league has caught up. Yanks used to spend 60% more than the next team. Now, we are getting passed by teams. Players cost more nowadays and we are spending less than we did in 2005. Cashman keeps talking about value like the Yanks are a small market team. Now I am not saying throw finance to the wolves here, but I am saying fill your weaknesses with best available and go from there. This will be a very telling off season
  17. Yankees payroll to revenue ratio is dead last in baseball. They aren't spending what they receive from us.
  18. He is making money hand over fist. And NOBODY ASKED FOR THE NEW STADIUM!! This wasn't fan driven, this was revenue driven. Hal is so f***ing slimy. I am sick of him.
  19. He showed signs of bad command in his first inning. If Houck was available, you wonder if he would have been called upon for the 8th
  20. That shocks me not at all.
  21. This year, it was clear that there was a mandate to stay under the cap. The moves at the deadline proved that. Dollars or no, I expect to see a complete team on the field. If there’s a hole, you fill it. Yanks have been missing something every year now and they’ve found a cheap way to fix it which hasn’t garnered them any titles. George would look at the team and say, hmmm, we need a third baseman, let’s get the best one in the game. Rather than saying, hmmm, let’s deal two prospects for this guy Brandon Drury, he should be a little better than league average.
  22. PREACH! Old Yankee Stadium was never pimped out like it is now. High cost of tickets, basically a mall on entrance. Expect to spend $200 on memorabilia if you bring your kids and another $50 per person on food and drink. Yankee Stadium is a gold mine. And right now, the Yanks are spending less than they did in 2005, when we were still in the old stadium.
  23. Disagree on today's "need to win". I think today is close to a must win for the Astros. Sale is the weak link in the chain now and in Game 6, the Stros face the best pitcher either team has on their roster. The Astros need to play today like it's game 7. There is a good chance Playoff Nate tosses 6IP and 1ER in game 6 and I don't think the Astros have the horses to match that
  24. Robo umps call that a ball. It was outside, but Diaz was giving 6 inches off the outside corner all game and finally decided to call the exact corner at the wrong time for the sox
  25. Saving a bullet in a game you're winning in the 8th is never a good plan. The bird in hand is far better than two in the bush. Also, yeah, Houck is ready today, but what happens if by the time Houck is called on, the sox are down 5? Or heck, what happens if Sale turns back the clock and is just mowing the Stros down?
