    He's not prospect hugging. The Mets gave up no top 100 prospects. Garcia is around 20-25 in nearly all publications. Gil is gonna be top 100 by end of year. No way Garcia and Gil is equivalent to what the Mets gave up

    You’re not getting any more rotation help. If you’re gonna go out and deal for a starter, you’re gonna get a guy who will crack your PO rotation. As it stands right now, Price, Sale, ERod and Cashner are your 4 in a PO series. Marginally upgrading with Wheeler makes no sense just to push out Porcello. I also don’t see the Sox trying to fix Diaz. I see the Sox selling out at this point for Ken Giles. Will Smith is looking less available as the Giants are gonna go for it

    We have a serious issue with our starting pitching. The issue right now is that all of them are off. By the POs, we are gonna need at least one starter from outside this 25 man, maybe two. I have faith that Tanaka and Paxton have it figured out because they’re actually good major league pitchers. I don’t have faith in Coronary Cripple or JA Bleh. Severino coming back and German pitching decent give me hope that one of them can take a spot, but expecting both to is fools gold. We need one more guy, and preferably one we can throw in front or at the 2 spot in a rotation

    We need another starter. We also need more urgency. I get we are up 9 in the L column, but yesterday sending CC back out for the 4th when our big guys are rested and down 1 was our shot to win the game. Instead we went down another, went to Green who isn’t in the elite category this year and the rest is history. Tonight I want Boone to manage this like a PO game. Show you can win with the pen and the O. If German struggles, get him out early. Use your strengths

    Dude, this rotation has been a nightmare. Rothschild took the blame afterwards. He very well may end up fired before the season ends. Absolutely pitiful. With the Nats and Giants back in it, the market lost 3 potential starters in Scherzer, Strasburg and Bumgarner. Now, the top is Stroman and Thor and both of them are coming from teams disinclined to deal with the Yanks. The Sox and twins have really beaten the piss out of our rotation
