    WB, it would be an act of divine intervention for the sox to win this game. Papi, Beltre, Drew, and Scutaro are the only guys in the game who were on the roster in April.

    Kevin Youkilis was removed from todays game with a leg injury. He was acting like a cramp, although he was grabbing at his ankle/achilles. Kinda weird.

    Doubront isnt ready yet, although he is close. His fastball isnt too hard (90-91), but he seems to hide it well. And his curve, albeit a bit inconsistent, has a ton of bite to it. He needs some more seasoning, especially with the change, but he has the stuff to be effective in the bigs.

    When ARod gets out of sorts, he looks like this. His timing is all out of whack. Once he gets it back, he'll break out with one of those 6 homers in 7 games runs.

    we'll see what this means. Doesnt sound like the best pen option seeing as he doesnt strike out a lot of batters and gives up a lot of flyballs, but we'll see

    With Ellsbury, Cameron and Drew under contract, where will he play? Cameron and Drew are essentially untradeable and Ellsbury would need to recoup some of his worth before you could move him either.

    Vazquez has his ERA in the high 4's right now and is pitching really well. Melky Cabrera has been bad for a 4th OFer Michael Dunn has been lights out in AAA and Arodys Vizcaino looks like he blew out his elbow and may require TJS I'd call that a win of a deal, especially if the Yankees let Javy go and get 2 picks prior to the second round. Score.

    I dont think we get Crawford. Where will he fit? Granderson's stock is too low to get rid of. Gardner has been a Crawford-lite thus far and Swish has been awesome. But I definitely think Lee comes to the Bronx. Makes too much sense

    It isnt just injury, it's ineffectiveness. By the ALCS, Gordon was shot. Regardless, you are talking about a young pitcher entering untested territory for him, which should always bring up warning flags. But that is why I brought it up. He used him in the bottom of the 8th, down a run with one of the league's best closers coming in. The chance of a win was pretty minimal
