  1. I'm not exactly sure what you wanted him to do about it htis trade deadline? You want him to poor endless dollars into Kip Wells or Corey Lidle? Sell the farm for a pitcher that will end up asking him to find more pitching same time next year? THere was nothing out there. Until they lose the division I'll hold my critism for Theo.
  2. Tired of him continually being sub par. I don't care if he he pitched with one leg and one arm, he has been a consistant disappointment in a Sox Uniform. I agree with him I'm sick of himn too. The sox need to start getting younger in thier rotation and fast. As much as I love Schill, how long will he be around? David Wells is a bust, and Wake while being a tremendous player and teammate, is a hit or miss every night. Beckett at times can look horrific. This rotatoin is beginning to look like the Yankees at the beginning of the year. Hold ont oyour hats cus its gonna be a bumpy home stretch.
  3. Not only would I not want him, but I think it would be impossible to do. FIrst you don't trade to or from the Yankees. It just doesn't happen. Second With all the bad blood and crap that has gone on through the last few years, I just don't see the Red Sox or Arod wanting anything to do with each other.
  4. I think he is worth it, I picked him up along with Chad Billingsly and Anthony Reyes hoping to get the next Jared Weaver, Unfortunatly no one in those three has lived up to Weaver's billing but certainly Lester is a good pickup because you everytime he goes out there he is capapable of a win simply because he plays behind the boston lineup. The one thing he has problems with is rackin up K's and getting late into games but it seems as of late that he has been going longer. If he's available pick him up and if your not in dire need for starters, start him based on matchup untill you gain confidence in him.
  5. Hey everyone first of all I'm a new here, a long time SOx Fan, displaced in New York State in Sunny Buffalo. Trot Nixon without a doubt is one more popular sox on this team however, I think that there is a tendancy to want to hold on to the past. I love Trot Nixon, but no one can deny that he has had injury problems along with problems in the offensive department. The money he will demand will probably be a bit out of what Theo wants to pay and I think if we can get a trade that would bring in a fith starter to help clinch the AL East, I'd say do it. You have WIlly Mo waiting in the wings. Trot has been great but it may be time, just like it was with Millar and Mueller to move on. Thanks again for having a great site, I will be posting often.
