    thats a long time!! a loss is okay here. It wasn't like Schilling blew the game or something, we all know dinardo can't get it done and that others can. so no confidence going into the yankees series is lost. and we did score 5 runs. that should be enough to win ballgames.

    okay. so through reading this thread I think, keep Paps as the dominant closer and really groom hansen and try and get him in there by next year. Schill will be gone in the next few years and we will need another shut down pitcher to go along with the other people we have. I agree don't mess with Paps achievements.

    i'm sorry, but Dinardo is really a problem. that 5 spot is really a problem. it sounds cliche but something must be done.

    i'd like to see many hit big today. with Ortiz out of the lineup we need his production. unless dinardo wants to hit a homer,
