    Everyone knows it's going to happen, Barry Bonds will hit #756 to surpass Hank Aaron. It will happen this year barring injuries. This thread is to post all Bonds discussion and homer alerts. He's coming to Fenway in June, and I got tickets to one of the games. He has a slight chance to hit it here. He hit #740 yesterday, April 22.

    Umm...we were "discombobulated" when Varitek was out. We sucked like no other. He was on the 40 man roster and other guys, maybe better guys, were not. He was one of their only options. It could be that New York is an enormous ratings market. Maybe they don't want to bash the team that they get a hefty amount of their viewers from? I really don't know.
