  1. Right, probably. If someone does get traded then I put Gonzalez in over Littleton.
  2. Poop metaphor, or real father?
  3. Just throwing it out there. Ramirez will probably open with the big team.
  4. Sucks for the photographer.
  5. I would be so, so pissed if that happened.
  6. Kotsay is currently the only bench player with 1B experience.
  7. Should we open the season with Miguel Gonzalez on the 25 man and Ramon Ramirez in AAA, just to see if Gonzalez can do something? Since he's a Rule 5 pick, if he's not on the 25 man we lose him. Just a thought.
  8. Oh, don't count them out? Crap, I forgot.
  9. Bradshaw gets things going with a long kick return, 3-0 Giants.
  10. It would have to be some pretty substantial company with Buchholz, though.
  11. Haha yeah, not sure anyone wants Josh.
  12. I would not trade Buch for Teagarden. At least not in a heartbeat. EDIT: Also trading both Bowden and Bard for Salty isn't so attractive when we could get Montero for less than Bowden.
  13. ^ I was at dinner, what happened?
  14. They'll have an updated roster patch around Opening Day, though.
  15. Though Baltimore took the lead, it was big for Tennessee to get that stop. 10-7 now.
  16. Extremely lucky by Clayton, the two guys covering him really f***ed that up. Ravens about to take the lead. Haynesworth is hurt now, that's big. I love the playoffs.
  17. It should have been the other way around. EA had the best baseball game and 2K had the best football game. It's a shame that both were lost.
  18. 700, while I don't think a closer is as vital as you, seeing Papelbon in a NY jersey would sting. I want to keep him.
  19. http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/schmuck/2009/01/os_closing_in_on_zaun.html Gregg Zaun is close to signing with the Orioles.
  20. As for the elbow, he did come back in September to pitch a few games (albeit not exceedingly well), and he passed his physical. The workload will be less than it was in LA since he isn't the closer or even the primary setup man. He's probably not going to be active for 162 games, but for 1.5-2.5MM, it's a good signing. Unless we do indeed trade Masterson/MDC, this pushes Littleton out of the bullpen. The pen does seem to be missing a long man, though.
  21. Kapler was insane (relatively speaking) last year in 229 at bats: .301/.340/.498, 8 HR. He doesn't play 1B though.
  22. I concur. 7-7 now, fairly early in Q2. Not often a #1 seed is the underdog in the Divisional round.
