  1. You're right that immediate action isn't crucial. I would still like to keep an eye on Bay. Since 6/1: .219/.288/.381/.669. Sucked in the first four, very good in the last three. I'd give him a 'gutted one out'
  2. He didn't just start slumping. And Ortiz is doing well.
  3. No, but he sucked in June and has K'd in six straight ABs.
  4. There's a lot to like about this kid, but I keep him in AA for the year. Start him in AAA next year, give him a chance sometime next year. Is he playing in the AS Future Game?
  5. I'm certainly not advocating moving him to 1B--at least not yet.
  6. Hey, that was fun. Quite the series.
  7. Still, he's pretty clearly going to improve upon .879 in the near future.
  8. Average? He has a 1.117 OPS this year, .879 career.
  9. Only 16 pitches over the past two days.
  10. .873 coming in, and he went 2 for 5 with a walk, so...slightly higher than .873.
  11. At least he didn't make a thread called "Montero doing well in AA".
  12. I thought he was going to get hosed there...go ahead run at 3rd.
  13. Word, RR. To the 11th...
  14. .476 OPS in High Lev situations, .629 in late and close.
  15. I'll just prepare myself for the worst in the 10th.
  16. You wouldn't leave him in AA for a little while longer? I mean, he is only 19. Do you see him getting a taste of the bigs next year?
  17. Time to take a f***ing lead. Youk, Kay, Ortiz.
  18. 2 down. Bard is nasty today.
