Scaffs,
you still around? HAven't seen an update in awhile and I find most of them very informative from you.
A couple of questions for you.
IS there any further updates from the latin america free agent market or has basically all the top signings been signed and accounted for by most of the MLB clubs?
What is your take on the signing out of Taiwan of that 18 year old catcher the other day? You know anything about him?
What Tek should worry about learning is how to put the ball in play when there are runners in scoring position and I don't mean a friggin double play either. Has his hitting skills turned to s*** the last 2 years? Why does it seem whenever he gets 2 strikes on him, the amount of times he just automatically swings and misses on a 3rd strike increase so much more than his hitting to contact? I swear but doesn't he take some of the worse swings and misses on the team? HE is neck and neck with Dougie in that category.
I am really down on him this year. I don't think just because he calls a good game makes him a team captain. HE never takes the team on his back these days.
The sox usually put that restriction on pitchers they draft from colleges and assign to Lowell whether they are a reliever or starter. They purposely limit their innings. The next year they work towards building up their innings through full season A ball.
Gee, where's Rodney King when you need him?
This board I hope remains an open forum for people with different ideas. WE don't need robots, everyone can't be right or wrong. Just allow them to be.

Anyway, I don't recall seeing a post from our favorite L/A prospect guru in a long time. Is he still around this site? Miss his insight to the goings on in the D.R. as it relates to our prospects.
Damn! Imagine having a rotation of Beckett, Santana, DiceK, Buckholtz. To me that would rival those great roations of the early 70's down in Baltimore. PAlmer, McNally, Cuellar, Dobson.
