    If they had signed him for 2yrs. at 14 per.. thats a marginal deal.. But at 4 years at 13 is just off the charts mismanagement. The reason the Yankees havent won while having a retarded payroll comes down to the fact of gross mismanagement.. whether thats Cashman or The Man behind the curtain..is up for debate. The fact is, this franchise is a big bloated disaster.

    Im not sure the portly portsider is the answer.. He may pitch a month or two, but I cant see those knees holding that load ( and from all reports there isnt anything left in those knees) for very long.. So I for one wouldnt put my eggs in that basket.

Just thought it was funny as this discussion here seems to go back and forth between what Greatest Pitcher actually means..
