  1. Who pitches after Beckett? Seanez? Holtz? Tavarez? Foulke even?
  2. Looks like Manny's got the rest of the night off.
  3. Manny takes that run right back.
  4. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
  5. Gotta pull the trigger, Wily Mo.
  6. Right, my point was he started to nibble after getting ahead of batters. Drives up his PC, leads to fatigue, etc.
  7. I really have a feeling you would. Like I said, he missed his spot. But there's no denying the sketchiness that surrounds HGH.
  8. I think Beckett used the first to establish his FB. Threw some more curves that inning. Location was the problem with him, nibbling too much. I would have rather faced ARod than Roid Boy, but Josh threw him too good a pitch. Anyway, we need some offense, and now would be a good time to start producing.
  9. Not a good 2nd. And with Mohr/Gonzo to start, we could already be looking towards the 4th.
  10. BTW, if Giambi was on a different team you would do the exact same thing. Beckett needs to improve, but with the way RJ has pitched lately, 2 runs isn't unbeatable.
  11. Who's the first man out of the pen? Tavarez?
  12. That ball went what, 310 feet? f*** that.
  13. RJ wanted no part of Ortiz.
  14. Mohr/Gonzo at the bottom of the order might hurt us...
  15. Not what the lineups say. Red Sox 1. Kevin Youkilis, 1B 2. Mark Loretta, 2B 3. David Ortiz, DH 4. Manny Ramirez, LF 5. Jason Varitek, C 6. Mike Lowell, 3B 7. Wily Mo Pena, RF 8. Dustan Mohr, CF 9. Alex Gonzales, SS -- Josh Beckett, SP http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/
  16. Balancing what out? He's hitting .368 over his last ten games, .309 over the last 30 days. The power numbers will come when pitchers feel they have to adjust to his ability to hit the outside pitch and come back inside. Plus, we have seen that Wily Mo has power to all fields. Link to Pena's stats.
