  1. Just win. Even if the mojo is f***ed.
  2. http://dugout.progressiveboink.com/archive/nick125.htm
  3. I don't even think the HBP was intentional.
  4. Brian Bruney has pitched 23 innings for the New York Yankees. You sure do love your small sample sizes.
  5. The Astros will still want something decent in return. "Mental Issues" aside, this is still a guy who throws high-90s heat and a mid-80s slider. Maybe a change of scenery does him good, but he can still be a valuable arm to the Astros bullpen even if he isn't closing games.
  6. Nice K to Ichiro. I'm off to take a nap for a few hours.
  7. BOOM Making my choice to make him my avvy proud.
  8. RS, it's probably time to let this one go.
  9. Only trade Crisp if you get reliable bullpen help in return. I'd like to see WMP get come playing time though. I do think Crisp can turn it around.
  10. At least Boone played defense.
  11. Make Crisp a late inning speed replacement? I know Crisp hasn't had a great start, but this line of thinking will only get the Sox in trouble. Don't rush Jacoby. Give WMP some ABs if you don't want Coco in the lineup.
  12. Sigh. His slugging has been declining tremendously the last few years. Do you want a $15 million singles hitter? So why would he do the same for Helton, who in your words is "a superstar"?
  13. OH MY GOD IF HE DOESNT PLAY HE WONT CONTRIBUTE OFFENSIVELY.
  14. How the f*** can you have a valid opinion of WMP if he never f***ing plays?
  15. Ballgame. Thanks, ORS.
  16. SFOC - I sent you a trade proposal.
  17. Why do people think strikeouts are such a bad thing? I mean, a guy like Adam Dunn strikes out a lot, yes, but he still gets on base about 40% of the time and is good for 40+ homers a year. Last I checked, a strikeout counts the same as a groundout, popout, or flyout. In fact, a strikeout is actually better than a double play! Im curious, why do some on this board laud contact guys like Mark Loretta and Darin Erstad, but curse guys like Adam Dunn and even Ryan Howard for "striking out too much"?
  18. Hahaha nice pictures.
