Couple quick thoughts -
The inefficiency of this offense has finally caught up with them. The fact they couldn't push one more f***ing run across today proves that although the overall numbers are nice, this team's offense has been a black hole and could ultimately cost them the division.
Second, Manny Ramirez has been the biggest disappointment on this team this year. More than Julio Lugo, and more than JD Drew. The days of .300/30/120 are obviously over, but how many times has he killed rallies this year?
Gagne has been awful, but the two losses are on Francona. How the f*** does Gagne pitch the 8th the other day, and how the f*** does he bring him in mid-inning today? His pen management has really been spotty when the team is struggling and I really feel that's a huge contributor as to why they can't win close games. Why wasn't Papelbon used in the 10th? Retarded managing.
