    Fair point, but they also went and signed Colon as insurance. I know, I know, minor league deal, but had they known Schilling wasn't an option for 2008 in this past offseason it wouldn't have shocked me to see them go after a SP.

    I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Pitcher A gets 8 runs of support per game, but has a 6.00 ERA. Pitcher B gets 2 runs of support per game and has a 1.00 ERA. You're telling me you'd rather have pitcher A?

    Why wouldn't they have spent the $8 million on another starter? A guy like Kyle Lohse would be a huge help right now, for sure. He could have been had for that money.

    Is it too late to change my mind? Buchholz needs to be sent down to AAA and he needs to go back to his old mechanics. He shouldn't see Boston again until 2009. Call up Zink, Bowden, or Hansack.
