    Byrd could very well be the Colon type FA I was speaking of, although I don't think it can come at the expense of Buchholz's development.

    Byrd is a FA after this season. Zink is probably sent back down, there's a reason he hasn't made the bigs until he was 28. He's good AAA insurance though, tonight is a good example of that.
