  1. Ryan Howard or Chase Utley.
  2. the NYT article said he might need arthroscopic surgery, he'd be ready for Spring Training. The bigger story is why Girardi consistently lies to the media about his players' injuries.
  3. 28-14!!! WTF he missed the PAT 27-14
  4. Under 5 mins left
  5. 14:00 left in the 4th USC 14 Oregon St. 21
  6. You could probably still trade them just not for the value you think.
  7. That's what.
  8. No one is taking it that seriously, I'm almost positive. It's an honest question and sparks some lively discussion.
  9. I bet Devern Hansack makes the Saturday start.
  10. The entire team, except for two individuals, went to see them. Manny was one of them. Add in all of his other transgressions...well, there you go. I loved Manny as a hitter. He was a fun guy to watch hit. Everything else, not so much.
  11. ^^This Although I still have my doubts as to whether or not Huard is any good.
  12. No defense of not seeing wounded troops? Stay blind with your Manny bias...
  13. Tampa doesn't have a $100 million payroll - the Tigers are not underdogs.
  14. I agree, unfortunate that Rincon let his inherited runners to score. I think it is the last time we see Pedro...unfortunately he's got nothing left and I think he's too proud to accept a one year deal somewhere, in a limited role. And as I type, the Mets win. Maybe we'll see a Pedro October start after all...
  15. On the surface, tonight's Mets and Cubs game doesn't appear to ave much significance to Sox fans. But it does. This could be the last time the best pitcher of our generation takes the mound in any sort of meaningful role. With their heartbreaking 9-6 loss to the Cubs last night, the Mets are now tied with the Brewers for the WC lead and trail the Phillies by 1.5 games. Tonight - their season may very well hang in the balance on the right arm of one Pedro Martinez. It will be interesting to see if Pedro can turn back the clock and come up big when his team needs him, something us Sox fans got the pleasure to watch for years. Go Pedro.
  16. David Garrard and Tony Gonzalez won't do squat this year.
  17. Can you defend the non-move for Santana?
  18. Tampa would stomp them.
  19. Can't really argue. Good points.
  20. Sick curveball from Delcarmen.
