  12. I hoped that ortiz was going to do the same thing to him when Ryan was in the O's Uni and they were in the same position.
  13. May 2 -- Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez forces Major League Baseball to again amend its policy on electronic devices on the field after he plays an entire game in left with a boombox on his shoulder May 5 -- Asked by a reporter about steroids use, Yankees outfielder Gary Sheffield points and yells: "Hey! Look over there! I think I see Barry Bonds! Look!" and then runs out of the room. September 6 -- Dodgers manager Grady Little reverts to old habits by leaving starting pitcher Brett Tomko in until the eighth inning which, in Tomko's case, is eight innings too long. September 15 -- Before the beginning of a home series against the Red Sox, the Yankees unveil a plaque in Monument Park that honors their 2004 squad as the first team in major league history to blow a 3-0 series lead in the playoffs. Victory is sweet June 1 -- The Dodgers lose ever-brittle J.D. Drew and Nomar Garciaparra to injuries sustained while washing Jeff Kent's truck. April 3 -- The Mets beat the Nationals 19-4 in their home opener, thanks to a record eight inside-the-park home runs. Washington's Alfonso Soriano gets the start in left field for the Nationals, but stands beside second baseman Jose Vidro the entire game, leaving a gaping hole in the outfield.
  14. Nice the franchise is signed
  15. Nice job red sox we just need to put the game away
  16. I think i will
  17. i am not so sure that is a smart move. i forget who told me this but i heard o baseball tonight. but he was saying how it's tough to transition those two pitching types although it has worked for Gagne,Lowe and Smoltz. besides smoltz gagne and lowe were pretty bad pitchers when they were starters. paps is a good closer.
  18. Welcome
  19. when i saw paps in spring training for a starting pitcher, he didn't seem that good. i think it's safer if we have him close or relieve.
  20. I saw this in the ad today in the boston globe, i was wondering if anyone has the card and if so is it worth a shot.Red Sox Nation Card
  21. I think that foulke may have great stuff, but not right now. so the sox should make him pitch the middle reliever stuff and have paps pitch closer and once foulke is in good shape to pitch closers. we have two closers. and we can easily trade away one of them for some thing else we need.
  22. Some questions for today: Can Bard catch the knucleball? and Can Stern be a good replacement for Coco?
  23. I heard, i know it's bad to laugh at it but it's funny.
