    as you probably know one of our weakness of this slump is/will be the fifth starter. sndyer was good but for some reason tito doesn't like hime. and johnson i haven't seen an inning where he hasn't given up a run. it seemed like we were doing pretty well with four, why do we need five;) . i am sure francona has heard of "if it can't be fixed it's not broken." but I will give francona the benefit of the doubt because managing is one of the hardest jobs and you worry alot. anyways, i was thinking that instead of getting a quality pitcher we could get a prospect from our farm teams instead. since i don't follow pawtucket closely do we have a good starter in pawtucket,portland right now? maybe we could go for the free agents? Willis? i am missing others. who else? what happened to snyder? P.S I hope I made sense. if it didn't don't kill me.

    i like the trade we need help in defence. although boynton was good but for one year. kind of like raycroft(i hope) i just hope raycroft won't be the modern day Babe. but it's not like we won with him.

    the bruins do get kessel. to some he was touted as the number 1 player in the draft but ended up in the fifth position. as well the bruins trade raycroft for a goalie prospect (like we need enough!!) Read more about the next thornton

    that's too bad he was my favorite red sox when he was on the team. hope it's not what they say it is.

    seems pretty lopsided because luongo is one of the best goalies and bertuzzi seems to be falling.

    same here.. i'll say if he pitches tommorrow i will boo him. it's like jason kidd but on a weaker scale. because we booed kidd in the playoffs this is a regular season game.

    you can't have enough pitchers. i like the trade/accusation.

    He seems to get better with every start. he will be good a couple years down the road when we might not have beckett and schilling and wake are retired. he will be our no 1 starter when that happens.

    segui said that he was prescribed by a doctor and told grimsley about it when he was going under tommy johns surgery. if there is a doctor who can say that he prescribed grimsley this case will be closed. i doubt that will happen soon.

    nice, that's all we need from here to october. our bullpen being worked out and if the batting is doing this for the rest of the summer we will make the playoff.

    i am not sure i think the dolphins might get us. this team have improved now with a creditable QB w/ a good defence which they already had and we have lost some valuable players(vinniterri,mcginest).but i think the patriots will get the wild card.

    i am kind of shocked by this. which i am sure alot of people are. Even being a UNC fan, he always seemed like a good person to be around. Which I am not saying just because he drinked and drived doesn't mean he is a bad guy. But it sure doesn't help. yet another example of an athlete who is not what they are protrayed as.
