    I loathe Bonds. And if its true that he started doing steroids after the 1998 season... then I completely absolve him of guilt. I feel the same way about violence in NHL games. The league needs to get their heads out of their asses and sell the real sport, instead of this ******** posturing when somebody does something like this. After the ridiculousness of McGwire and Sosa in 1998, I'm surprised ANY baseball players were still clean. And how come nobody is s***ing on Luis Gonzalez? Have you ever seen a more absurd career in your life? Career high in homers at age 30 is 15. At age 34, he hits 57. What the f***?

    Alfonso Soriano is a dickhead. He'll cave. He's not going to delay his FA another season or lose his 10 million over this.

    Puckett is constantly used as justification for other undeserving HOFers. None of Mattingly, Rice, or Puckett should be in the hall of fame, but the idea that Puckett should get more credit for an eye problem than Mattingly should for a back problem is hard to justify.

    Beckett has a career high of 178 innings. Pavano's is 222, and has thrown over 200 twice. Beckett has been on the DL, what, 9 times in his career? 11? In either case, Pavano sucks, and I hate him.

    1) I sincerely doubt that Weaver will improve his ERA leaving LA and the NL West for the AL West. 2) That isn't an uprade over Washburn giving them 180ish innings of 3.20era ball. For weaver, I suspect maybe 200ip, and close to a 4.50era.
