    lester goes tonight. so far, hes got a .87 ERA at pawtucket, and all he needs is to get the pitch count up a bit. After an 87 pitch 7 inning CG last start, it seems as though he is almost ready. I'd like to see him go 100 tonight, and then either come up or go one more start max, assuming he has no setbacks tonight.

    that sucks. He was really feeling the curve this year...that middle finger is key to his curveball grip. Hopefully he doesnt go to the DL, and hopefully it doesnt throw him off too much next time out

    i really liked "reversing the curse" if you can handle shaughnessy. I read it in 2 days, couldnt put it down. I haven't read any others though, so i dont know if it's necessarily the "best"

    we have been awfully spoiled so far this year. tonight has been an awesome performance by the sox so far, and we're ho hum about it. i guess thats a good thing though!

    Back on the topic of 5th starter...Devern has been tearing up AAA so far in two starts. 10 2/3 IP, 6 h, 3 BB, 20 K, 1 ER, .158 oppAVG There's no way he could be worse than Julian in the 5 spot
