  1. Everybody should put the ******** aside for one f***ing night out of respect for all the baseball that has been played there over the last 85 years. Tomorrow we can go back to hating the place, its' players, and the entire douchebag organization.
  2. You forgot Pavano. Isn't he due for another strained vagina or something?
  3. If he were smart, he would. Chances are he'd get a hell of a lot more mileage out of that over the course of his career than he ultimately will for his performance on the field tonight.
  4. I could see if it were a starter who's career numbers and longevity dictated respect along the lines of what Rivera deserves. But it's Cliff Lee starting. He's good, but he's not in Rivera's class. And this is an unusual game in a storied stadium about to be history. And if Lee or anyone else in his class had a problem with Rivera starting, they could go eat a bag of dicks as far as I'm concerned.
  5. I was listening to an interesting argument on ESPN radio the other day about the All-Star game. An interesting angle on the pitching assignment was to have Mo start the game, and I have to say I was both intrigued by the idea and in agreement with the reasoning. 1) The guy has been perennially world class and deserves a spotlight role in the game. 2) It's only one game and there's no guarantee that a closer will be needed. 3) It's a grand finale of sorts for Yankee Stadium, at least one Yankee should be allowed to play a prominent role. With WS home field advantage riding on the game, I'd like to see the AL jump out to an early lead. One way to do that is score runs, the other is to prevent them. Chances are very good he will pitch a scoreless inning, so why not let him start, recognize the Yankee history with the stadium, and give the AL it's best chance to get ahead early in the game?
  6. This kid is f***ing ridiculous.

  10. 1) Underpants 2) ? 3) Profit
  11. He could also sit out the four weeks until his wrist was back to 100%. But then he'd be a pussy.
  12. I hope he uses him for two as often as possible and fatigues his arm down the stretch.
  13. He's never been the same since he left town without Nelson.
  14. I think Jacko threw in a JV game at UMASS-Lowell. He can't be too far down the depth chart now.
  15. Check the IP# and match it against NESN's silly.
  16. High cheese. Sit down.
  17. A two strike slider to a low ball hitting lefty is a stupid f***ing pitch.
  18. Hit the weight room, Coco.
  19. We are sucking the swamp ass out of canal water right now.

  21. I'm starting a collection to send Jacko on vacation to The Cape.
