  1. Man you are thick. Can I jump on the ban jsinger bandwagon?? Just kidding. He tore ligaments in his ANKLE when he fell. His knee was uninjured on that play. He developed arthritis from being a fat ass and getting bigger as he aged....
  2. His career ended because his knees were so arthritic that they nearly fused. His ankle cost him a yr, his weight cost him his career. Guys that big get accelerated arthritis formation causing them to have degenerative back and knee changes much more regularly than a skinny person. Just because he is a DH doesnt exempt him from that. It may slow the process a little because he is off his feet for half a game, but it doesnt mean he is immune. Remember, arthritis is not baseball unique, he is developing it just by walking around. I think anyone with a good pair of eyes can see that he is overweight and that is the biggest precursor of severe degenerative arthritis in the weight bearing joints....
  3. DH's dont hurt their back? Their knees dont go out on them just because they are a DH? Mo Vaughn was a DH in the latter part of his career and he broke down. Terrible argument on your part.....
  4. this is getting ugly...
  5. ha, ummm no. On D, yes, overall, not even close....
  6. wow, I cannot believe that Foulke lost his job in a blowout.
  7. WOW!!! Foulke has already lost his job....
  8. well here goes. The sox game must have been one hell of a game to watch so far. I hope it gets more exciting!!!!
  9. ATTA BABY SHEFF!!!!!!4-0!!!!!
  10. wow, if teixeira didnt get stupid the game would be tied....
  11. horrible baserunning. Man....
  12. Timlin is not throwing that hard, topping out at 90-91...
  13. you should. He is the example of a sheer professional...
  14. MATSUI!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. It is called anger. It'll be all right. Francoma will pull Beckett and Foulke will get a chance to cough.. I mean nail it down....
  16. Lets Go Yankees!!!
  17. can't handle an opposing perspective? Maybe I should expect that from a middle schooler...
  18. you gotta be f***in kidding me...
  19. That might be it for Beckett. Baby steps for him....
  20. Beckett must be pumped. He is throwing very hard. He has to challenge Nevin on that, he should not have walked him...
  21. He is throwin f***ing gas. Averaging 96 and 97, wow, that is speed...
  22. I expect Francona to have the kid gloves on when it comes to Beckett. I'd be surprised if he crosses the 100 pitch mark...
  23. Proctor always has a good spring. I know we needed to see what he could do for us, but did we need to thrust him into a 3-3 game in the bottom of the 9th? I dont think so. Villone, Sturtze, and even Farns would have been better bets for the 9th. Proctor is nothing but a AAAA player....
  24. You can bet that Theo is on the phone with SD as we speak. A pitcher needs to have faith in his catcher and I think it is fair to say that Wake has no faith in Bard and Vtek has shown nothing with respects to Wake as well. Wake knew he could float that ball up there to Mirabelli and he'd catch it. If Wake cannot regain that confidence in his catcher, then he is junk. There is nothing more frustrating for a pitcher than making your pitch and haing your catcher drop it....
