  1. It isnt logic, just a dig. But could you blame us. I was on another site and there were people who actually were calling the red sox the best franchise in baseball history. s***, a lady DIED in your celebration, that may have been a minor incidence of the world slowly turning into chaos. Also, winning one championship is great and a wonderful achievement, but you also have to see where we are coming from. We watched a team pull off a dynasty, 4 in 5 years? We are rather unimpressed by a one year wonder, which the sox turned out to be. Also, after watching the yankees in the playoffs for 11 consecutive years, we know that anything can happen. Either way, I congratulated the sox on winning it all and especially for doing it at the demise of my team, but it was what it was. One year, one title, one season. They couldnt close the deal last yr and in order to impress us or worry us, they'll have to do it this yr....
  2. Coney got cheered heartily and I believe he got choked up when talking about it after the game....
  3. as always, premature conclusions for a team with a history of popping before insertion. I still remember the NESN commercials in the late 90s. "And the Red Sox are loaded with talent this yr attempting to avoid the June Swoon". It was basically a patented phenomenon in Boston, and one championship makes them forget it all. Yankee fans never forget......
  4. seriously, that is the dumbest post of the week. Winning is the ONLY thing, period. If you are still in little league, then I am sorry to ruin your "everyody is a winner" fun. You know what, I'll give you back all the red sox grown talent and see how happy you are without any of the mercs you guys received. Would you be happy with a 60-102 team? That post you made was stupid and I expected you to bring more to the table with that one...
  5. the name on the front is more important than the name on the back. I'll accept 20 traitors onto my baseball team if it meant we'd win...
  6. nah, I'm done fighting. I take it since nobody has tried to debase my post that I am correct?
  7. You are trying to point out that you scour women's uteruses, but you are too dumb to put it correctly. I am actually assisting surgeons in removing women's uteruses this week. I don't like it, but such is life...
  8. you kinda can't do that, it is quite impossible...
  9. Wells got his welcome back when he came back as a Padre. We gave him a standing O for like 3 minutes...
  10. removing uteruses from 6am to 6pm every day til sunday.....
  11. Sox fan in Texas http://www.sleazyrecords.com/upload/arti1684.jpg
  12. I used to nail people in the knees. So many people talk about head hunting when you want to send a message, but the knees are more of a devastating way to make a point. If you hit them right, you could really knock them out of the game. I also liked seeing the guy who leaned too far over the plate. If you threw at his upper back/neck area, he'd reflexively move right back into the pitch and it would get him in the earflap, and that hurts. I had it down to an art. Intimidation is necessary in baseball and too many guys are buddy buddy and refuse to knock a guy down or drill him. f*** that, inside the lines, no guy in the other dugout was a friend. Outside the lines, I didnt care....
  13. He was not ripped by us, and in fact was cheered heartily on his return to Yankee stadium. He was only ripped on the blogs because he was done and was terrible. I mean the guy lost 14 games and had an era close to 6 the yr before. We loved Coney.
  14. wow, dude, chill. Blame Theo, not the fans....
  15. Nah, I'm just big and could take it. The only place that I hated getting hit was the elbow, but I wouldnt wear any elbow protection because that is for pussies....
  16. I got hit a lot. I actually loved getting hit. Free bases are cool...
  17. So I figured out. It is so funny though, most yankee sites are very mod strict and will ban anyone who cusses. Boston's language actually relies upon the f-word and s*** so having a swear blocker will ruin every post. I like it here!!
  18. You are right. Upon announcement and upon lining up at the 3rd base line which they likely will do, you cheer the man for being one of the biggest assets to your 2004 team. Once he steps into the batter's box, he is just another yankee and boo away....
  19. I lived in beantown for 2 summahs, I can bring the accent back when I please....
  20. nice, lol. Just piling on the red sox after they have had a bad 10 game stretch just like any good yankee fan would do. But, I used numbahs....
  21. I got banned from that site and blooms tomb was a major reason. I got drunk one night and cussed up everyone and their mother on that site. It is so bad that I cannot even visit the yes homepage, as my IP is blocked....
  22. I like mine with a nice chianti and a side of fava beans.... http://www.manhunter.net/cast/gfx/anthony_hopkins.jpg
  23. are you too afraid to face the facts?
