I am posting an under over at 6.5 for todays game between the sox and blue jays. It should be a great pitching matchup. So, will the jays and the sox score more than 6.5 runs total? I say NO....

Wright vs Fossum Okay, Clueless Joe has returned. After a pathetic decision on Monday night that likely cost the yankees a 2 game swing in the standings, he now pushes our #4 back until saturday so our #5 can pitch today. I know why he is doing it, but it doesnt make it right. He wants fat ass Wright to get one more shot to earn his spot in the rotation before it is temporarily handed to Small and then back to Pavano (who has been described as lights out thus far in extended spring training, but the only lights out are the ones in his head!!). Oh well, f*** that, we better scoe some runs, because this won't be a pitcher's duel. GO YANKEES!!!!

It is not even close. Papelbon is definitely the AL Rookie of the yr to this point. He could not possibly be doing any better and with a closer winning it last yr, they set the precedent....

This early in the season, they should cancel the game. Both of our pitchers have extensive injury histories and nights in may are not when you should be testing mother nature. The field is soaked, it is supposed to rain into thursday, call it and move it to later in the yr. Dont get me wrong, I want to see a game, but not at the expense of losing our #4 for an extended period of time....

you are wrong on most of your facts. The bases were loaded because you had 7 walks. Also, nothing about last night disputes the claim that your hitters, aside from Ortiz and Manny, hit under .200 as a whole. Hell, the yankees couldnt hit either, but the fact remains that your lineup is 2 men deep....

nah, I was in bed man. Look at the time, I have a job to get to this am. BTW, Bosoxgirl, calling me ignorant is not the best way to go about things. Saying that I don't listen or whatever does not equate with intelligence level. Now, I have to throw you under the bus, well, you LOOK like you already have been so I'll lay off. It was one game, and if you look at my post, I predicted a split. Unfortunately, what I thought would happen would be that we would take last night. Also, I never took into account our managers who seem to find wonderful ways to ruin our games. Seriously, I was dumbfounded that Sturtze was brought into that game. Completely dumbfounded. And I still am. Our bullpen has been amazing so far this yr, and Small coming back helped. He looked good last night, but all went for naught when Sturtze entered the game. I am never a believer in the predetermined outcome, so I freeze the game at 3-3 Loretta up, and Sturtze comes in. The dynamic of the game changed right then and there. If Proctor is brought in and he gets Loretta to K or bounce into a DP, Ortiz gets pitched to differently. Well, I'm not eating my words, because I actually predicted a split and that is still a good chance of happening. I just hope Cashman takes control and DFA's sturtze so we cannot use him again. Seriously, if you guys brought in Seanez instead of Timlin last night, would you have been angry. Sturtze is our equivalent. Oh well, one game and there are a lot of positives for us. You guys couldnt hit aside from Ortiz and Manny (5 for 26). Wang didnt have nearly his best stuff, but gave us 5 gutty innings. Small looked very sharp, but his stamina is a problem. Our offense actually made solid contact off wakey the entire night, something we didnt do very well in recent history, the ball just didnt fall in and Boston's D certainly has improved. And last, but certainly not least, our manager gave the game away. You should all sned thank you letters to Torre. Have a good day all. And Bosoxgirl, how's the 4th grade treating you?

still confident. No problem, losing one game. But seriously, I think Torre might cost us a few games a yr. Man he is awful.....

seriously, those who came to this country ILLEGALLY should be shipped back to wherever they came from. I work with many LEGAL immigrants from India and Africa and they have gone through the hassle of doing it the right way. It isnt fair to them, and it isnt fair to our economy. Seriously, I'd rather they find out who all the illegals are and ship them back to their true homes and give their jobs to those unemployed americans who need them.
