    I saw it too, I was worried, then he threw a couple pitches at 94 and I was ok. I think Torre had him on a short leash because todays game is very positive for him after tons of negatives. Everyone harped on how Randy turned it around last week and I kinda took it with a grain of salt. Looks like they were right, as detroit is the best team in baseball and RJ dominated them.....

    schilling, foulke, manny, pedro, etc etc etc. Every team has bought a championship every single yr, because to truly not buy a championship, every single player on your team has to be a former sox farmhand who has grown with the team. It is an idealistic view of your team, when you call another team one that is trying to buy a championsip, because technically, every single WS winner going back to ruth's days were assembled by buying players....

    this is funny. Lets deal a guy who is on the twilight of his prime, although still a very good player in his own right, for a pitcher who has 10 more years of dominance with his stuff. Hitters are easy to find, pitching is the premium these days...
