  1. And technically he was safe at 2nd.
  2. Nice shot Darnell!
  3. Heeeey, what did I do?
  4. Ok, well you better get caught up! It's AWESOME!
  5. Me too. I think...
  6. Youk was pissed. Warnings now? Damn.
  7. I hear ya but it's nice if you're at a sports bar and not home. Don't have the internet on my phone. I really like that the ball/strike count is always shown.
  8. Some one mentioned in another game thread how much they like the new NESN "score board" I agree 100%. The ball and strike count is always shown where most show the pitch speed for a time and then go back to ball/strike count. Love the pitch count showing too. Come on Clay, settle down dude!
  9. Yeah, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma is a lot more challenging but Lester beat it. Roberts will be fine. Kick that cancer's ass Dave!
  10. RED SOX (11-14) Scutaro SS Pedroia 2B Martinez C Youkilis 1B Drew RF Lowell DH Beltre 3B Hall LF McDonald CF Pitching: RHP Clay Buchholz (2-2, 2.19).
  11. Wrapping up a lost weekend in Baltimore Posted by Peter Abraham, Globe Staff May 2, 2010 05:55 PM A few postgame notes for quotes for you before the flight home: * Terry Francona said he thought about having Bill Hall run for Jason Varitek in the 8th inning but didn't want to take Varitek out of the game. "The way the game was going, I wanted to leave Tek catching," he said. * Francona supported third base coach Tim Bogar's decision to send Varitek, saying in that situation the Sox needed to play for a bad throw. "I would have sent (Varitek), too," Francona said. Not exactly a ringing vote of confidence for J.D. Drew, who was on deck. * Varitek said he got a good jump, turned third base well and ran as hard as he could. He just didn't have enough to score. He couldn't have even run the catcher over because he was out of gas. * Kevin Youkilis says he'll play tomorrow. Francona says Youkilis will get checked out by the team doctor tomorrow then a decision will be made. * Mike Cameron said he is hopeful of starting a brief rehab assignment within a week. Jacoby Ellsbury is not hopeful of that. "I don't want to put a timetable on it," he said. "I have broken bones and they need to heal." It certainly sounds like Cameron will be back first, which is not what was expected when they were both put on the disabled list on April 20. * The Red Sox have lost four straight games against Baltimore. That hasn't happened since 2004.
  12. Nevermind! Please win for f***'s sake!
  13. Cool and all bro but put it in the Game Thread section.
  14. I am mojo-less. Good luck to the next in-game thread starter! And GOOD LUCK to the Sox. 7 tough games ahead.
  15. Rude and obnoxious to some members out here. The usual stuff. Can't believe he lasted as long as he did. He was given a second chance and squandered it all away. Moron.
  16. Yes!!
  17. We're home for the next 10 games. Oh, and Gom has been banned.
