That was the refrain all winter. Let's take a look:

Those pesky facts. Still the Sox are only ninth in runs scored. But that is a product of poor situational hitting early in the season and we're starting to see that even out now. By the All-Star break, the guess here is they'll be top four or five.
Jason Bay is hitting .238 with one (1) home run in the National League, by the way. He has struck out 33 times in 101 at-bats.
