  1. That was so weird. He hesitated on his first throw and then threw it into the ground. Looked like a temporary case of the YIPS or NIPS, whatever it's called.
  2. Always love when Papi beats the shift!
  3. Gotta admire that in a young pitcher. YOUK!
  4. Pedroia takes his cuts Posted by Peter Abraham, Globe Staff June 2, 2012 12:31 PM TORONTO -- Dustin Pedroia just took 25 swings during batting practice on the field. He was asked how he felt. "How did it look?" Pedroia shot back, pleased with all the line drives he hit. Bobby Valentine said they need to see how Pedroia's thumb responds to the session. But the tentative plan is for him to take BP again on Sunday. There seems to be a decent chance Pedroia returns to the lineup on Tuesday.
  5. And then there were 6.

  7. I'm sure that you love to make the game threads out here excruciating. At least Brennan, is not out here with his "poopsie" worship and making the GT even worse. I wish your one month ban had been permanent.

  9. I hear ya. To think that morning Schill woke up he could barely walk and then pitched his ass off that night, unreal. That was old time tough. It was the play offs too. Can't imagine that happening during the regular season.
  10. WWYD? (What Would Yaz Do?) 700, we know what Yaz did. He grew up in a completely different time. The world and baseball were quite different then. Yaz is my all time favorite. Baseball is very different now. I don't see it going back to the way it was (WWYD?) any time soon or in the future. Pedey is tough and if he can play he will. Ultimately, it's not up to him. Quit sounding like a crotchety old man dammit! ;)
  11. His bases clearing 2B resulting in 3 runs was awesome last night as well as clutch! Boy has heart. Can only hope it lasts.
  12. I know. Keeping my fingers crossed. It'd be tough to handle that blow.
  13. That game surely surpassed my expectations!! Keep it going! Beating DV is huge.
  14. Nice play to end it Little Nicky! Sox are above .500!! WHOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!
  15. The usual suspects....uhhh....as usual!
