  1. ok, well i'm still learning...........
  2. let me ask this... if angels get into this with Santana now that Cabrera is a Tiger, do you think Sox will offer up Lester and Ellsbury to get him?
  3. Defense is half the game, but Ellsbury can do things Crisp can do in the field. And if he can't do it all now, in good time he will be. Like I have seen other's said, giving up Crisp to the twins with Lester to Twins is like a bonus to us.
  4. Well i don't see crisp as a "good" Center Fielder... i see him as a defensive guru, but with the bat he wasn't anything. When Ellsbury came in against Cleveland we took off. I'm not saying it was Crisps fault for sure, but it seems pretty ironic. I just think locking up Santana would be a huge pick up for us seeing the Tigers new Rotation and Line up. And I am almost willing to give up Ellsbury and Lester for him.
  5. so what I'm getting from ESPN, and this site, the deal looks to be dead because we won't give up Ellsbury and Lester? Well what if we do give up lester and Ellsbury, and use Coco as trade bait for another Center Fielder? Andruw Jones anyone?!?!
  6. That's what I am talking about when I said Beckett will have a better season this year. Because the season before he wasn't the ace of the team, he wasn't the all-star we were all expecting. Now he is the leader, he carried a team on his back, and I think with that confidence he will only go up. Beckett is one of the great pitchers, I don't care what anyone says. Sabathia is #2 to Beckett.
  7. i am calm, that's why i'm asking mate
  8. so that's nothing official Yankee? That's just one man's opinion?
  9. so if the twins and Red Sox come to an agreement, the Sox have to go to the commissioner and ask for the 72 hour period to talk to Santana?
  10. Yea, Santana would have a good year, but not a better year then Beckett. This team is Beckett's team now, and he knows that, and he knows he's the leader. With the mind set, I predict he will be more dominate then last year. I say Beckett will be Cy young next year, and Santana will win like 16 or 17 games, which isn't bad at all!
  11. Boston needs to land this, sense Detroit is getting Cabrera, and on top of that Willis. The Tigers have great pitching with the addition of Willis, but does that make them one dimensional? I mean it just seems with willis, and Verlander it's all about the fast ball? I don't know, either way.... that's a great rotation the Tigers will have, and we will need to one up them, with the aging Schilling, and the questionable Dice-K
  12. wait.... a center fielder??? But not specific?
  13. Hahaha... Terry doesn't know what to say... hahaha
  14. O MY GOD!!!! O MY GOD!!!! IT HAPPENED!!! AND LOWELL MADE IT LOOK EASY
  15. wow.... are my eyes lying to me.... am I really seeing Gagne going up 2 and down 2?
  16. ...... NOO!!!! NOT GAGNE!!!!! get ready for history to be made.
  17. Just got home from work to see that the bottom of the line up is actually producing!!! And maybe Terry isn't as stubborn as some people think. Ellesbury must really be the spark we needed at the bottom. I'm glad to see pitchers can't get around the bottom this game, lets hope it does the same tomorrow night!!(If we get there )
  18. I always thought the Yellow Line was a HR??
  19. Though Julio is crapping bricks right now, I'm curious to see how he does next year. I think next year will be better, seems like new players in Boston need a year curve. Coco though, send him off.
  20. It did pop back up, and out back on to the field. That is a clear homerun
