Then this team needs to pick it up FAST!! They are slowly falling away in the division and the Wild Card is slowly slipping away too. I will be very disappointed if they do not make the playoffs -

Has anyone heard anything of a waiver wire deal that will possibly allow the Sox to acquire a starting pitcher better than Jason Johnson. Big Mistake not doing this at the deadline. So anything?

I love this deal. Crisp is a great CF and I dont see all the hype about marte. no1 complained when hanley was traded y complain about marte

The Red Sox traded their so-called "BEST PROSPECT" to the marlins. I've heard a lot about Marte, but when the Sox made the renteria trade, I was like "Wow this sucks!" What about sending like Wells Marte and Clement to the A's for a possible Jay Payton Barry Zito deal?

It really depends what you look for in your CF. If you want a fast defensive guy, go to roberts. You want a better hitting CF go for payton. For this reason I will not vote because i am torn between these two

Any chance the sox can package a deal together that would send Zito to the Red Sox. With him, Schlliling at full health, and Beckett at full health, the red sox could have to most dominant rotation in all of Major League Baseball

payton is a far better hitter, but we are also talking about getting a lead off hiter. As I recall, payton isn't a leadoff hitter, and roberts could fill the hole

I really would like to see a possible deal sending Dave Roberts back to Boston for Boomer. Either that or the payton deal would be wonderful as well.

The only way that I will give up Manny is if we get Tejada. Manny is too valuable to the club to pull of any stupid deal that would hurt the team. Tejada would be a valuable asset to the team, but I just think it is too risky to trade Manny
