  1. Fair enough, though I thought it would be an interesting trade. Considering if he actually joined the Sox he would be, most likely, the fourth starter. That gives the fifth to Masterson/Wake/MiLB.
  2. Please stop. Ten pages ago you were hanging it up.
  3. Ortiz did what he is suppose to, now Beckett needs to man up. He's had a nice career so far, but this could be a major game we all look back onto.
  4. The price seems to be a couple of pitches and a CF. Do we stick our heads in and see what's happening. A Bard/Clay with Jacoby? Any other ideas?
  5. Idk, I seriously think you overreact when you find that you could be right. I'll agree that Jacoby may never be what he was in the 07 post season, but then again maybe he will. Right now he is a hit or miss guy. Next season at the All-Star break if he isn't playing better on both sides of the ball I'll restI my case. Still while sometimes it's funny when your trying to make people/comments look like an ass, usually it's useless. This season, while its had it's faults, hasn't been terrible. I don't think we have "sucked" at all.
  6. I don't think having a only a year of experience should call for this type of criticism. The kid will be a productive lead-off hitter, he needed experience. This whole if we don't win the World Series every year I'll be pissy attitude from fans is getting way out of hand. Yes, I would love to be WS champions every year, but it's not logical to expect that. Facts are Jacoby has a make or break year, next year, not this year. I expect a .290-.300 avg and a 350-360 obp from him. The key is he has to show progression. He'll be fine.
  7. It was. Now go back to blowing the best shortstop in the game.
  8. No, no. Jason Bay is doing fine. We just need a healthy 3B who can hit .280 20hr and 90rbi. To help with the loss of Manny.
  9. Ok and how can we compare that to Cashman? Isn't his team sitting at home?
  10. Don't think he missed too many days in October/November
  11. Um no. Productive Manny >>>>>>> Bay
  12. Please take the kid out. He can't do this right now.
  13. Not having Manny and being injured has alot to do that.
  14. With the awesome prospects coming up? Or the non-diva third basemen? Or rangy shortstop? Or hustling second baseman? Or the amazing outfield?
