    I said we needed Tex in the offseason and that the offense had to many question marks in it and could be a weak point in the team. He would have given this team a dependable slugger to carry the O at times. That being said its the 8th game of the season and people are calling Jacoby a bust. Saying Lowell and Ortiz are done. The Yankees always get off the slow starts its just the 8th game! Give them to at least mid May before you hit the panic button, its so damn early. Did I want Tex? Yes. Can they get it done without him? Sure, there are a lot of holes but its to early to say the offense is a bust. We could have another few runs this game but a great catch on the Drew fly ball and unlucky that Youk got tripped up on the bag.

    Dude its 6 games in.

    Was only able to catch the last inning. Someone mind telling me how Penny looked? The one thing I noticed with Papelbon is that his velocity looked down when he was trying to blow people away with the high fastball especially Hunter and Kendrick. When he throws the high fastball he usually hits 97 and blows people away, today he only hit 95. That being said its still early obviously.

    I agree with this. There are a lot of question marks in this lineup but if all goes well we'll be fine. I'm optimistic but the offence could be a weakness this year.

    Nice job pointing out the fact he only has two walks, his stuff just isnt sharp today. Walks are what always screw him over, not today.

    Yea it was 12. I'm real worried about the WBC f***ing with his arm. Especially someone who has logged so many innings. I said it 100 times before this.
