    Its not Theo's MO to trade 2-3 top prospects for a 33 yr old pitcher who is likely not going to get better. When he got Schilling he gave the Diamondbacks 4 stiffs in one of the greatest heists of alltime. Theo will never trade Lester, Hansen, or any of our high prospects for Schmidt.

    The Red Sox will not part with 2-3 very good prospects for a 33 yr old Jason Schmidt who looks to have lost a bit in the recent years.

    Papelbon has enough in his arsenal to start but it won't be this year. In the offseason things may change but right now he will close.

    Papelbon has 4 pitches.....the fastball is a plus pitch, the slider is above average and the splitter is developing into a very good pitch. His changeup is not a plus pitch yet but he throws it at times.
