Nixon was 1 homer every 47.6 At-bats while WMP was 1 every 25 at-bats. And WMP wasn't playing everyday also. I would say 1 in 25 in a alot better than what nixon puts up.

WMP's best days are ahead of him while Trot Nixon's best days are behind him and anyone who think that trot will bust out is only kidding themselves.

When your as injured as much as Nixon 32-33 is old. He isn't going to bust out anymore. He is past that point where the Red Sox should even rely on someone like him. WMP will get alot closer to 40 homeruns than I can say for Trot Nixon. Face it the guy cannot stay healthy and when he does his bat is lacking big time. Loretta has very poor range at second and tailed off with his bat that was not what was advertised in San Diego. Pedroia is also not a shortstop.
