I am all for this. The red sox can regulate his workload by doing this. His arm is too valuable to pitch in the pen and with Lester's uncertainty they need him in the rotation.

Moss was once the #2 rated prospect in the sox system by BA. He has slipped back a bit after being rushed to AA and having repeated AA this past year. He's a good prospect but not someone I would be reluctant to keep if another team asked for him. He doesn't have enough power for a corner outfielder in my eyes. He will start 2007 in Pawtucket unless he is traded in the offseason.

Seadogs win the EL championship today. So the Red Sox organization has had 2 championships this year along with the GCL Red Sox winning the title.

Choke job by Barry Hertzler....Big Edgar would have closed the door and so would have Bryce Cox if they called him up from Wilmington.

But as a #4 outfielder that would be alot of money paid to crisp. Unless this team gets Lidge for Crisp then I don't think of moving him.

And that is pure speculation at best. The only way I trade crisp is if the Sox get Brad Lidge back. Papelbon is likely headed to the rotation and a closer is needed for the short term.

I wouldn't sell low on Crisp.

Don't want him. Too old and likely still wants some dough. the sox would be better using murphy as the 4th outfielder.

Brad Lidge could be available through trade and Eric Gagne is a FA who I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on.

no surprise there.....example he prepared for 2006 as a starter and became the closer out of need.
