    They would form a nice young nucleus but with prospects you never know and I would not rush any of them. Pedroia should be ready by 2007 and he could even help this year. I would be surprised if both Ellsbury and Lowrie don't make it to Portland by the end of the year.

    Hes playing in pawtucket and will likely be up sometime this season.

    24 and hes not going back to the minors or he will end up with another organization. He will hit against lefties and give other players breathiers here and there.

    Those days are gone of trading top prospects for questionable veterans. Theo is too smart for that and would likely only trade Lowrie for something that is very useful.

    I will never put wang in ace type stuff category frankly because he is a sinker baller that doesn't K anyone and never has and relies on a shaky defense. There are at least 10-20 young pitchers I would take before taking wang.

    Wang does not have ace type stuff......Ace type stuff is when you can dominate a team by striking guys out something Wang doesn't do. He relies on defense and to me if you have to rely on defense you are not an ace. Wang is far from having ace stuff.
