    Here is the answer to your question 26 to 6 Mike (SF): The INTERNATIONAL league suspended Delmon Young 50 games. Can the Devil Rays call him up tomorrow and have him play for them ? Jim Callis: (2:15 PM ET ) I believe they could, as the suspension wouldn't come with him. But the Devil Rays plan on upholding the suspension and aren't even letting Delmon play in extended spring training yet. He's not coming up any time soon.

    Maybe because Nomar came up through the system and Johnny was signed through free agency has something to do with his number being given right out and the fact that Damon went to the Yankees doesn't hurt either.

    He will not be going to AA ball. The Drays are going to have him play in some extended spring training games along with some time off as well. I also heard he has to do some community service as well.

    Bernie is really embarassing himself as a ballplayer. If he had been smart he would have went into retirement last year. There is no reason for him to come back. He was a good ballplayer and shouldn't be hanging on like this.

    He got called out on strikes looking....didn't like the call...said some stuff...started to walk back to the dugout....threw his helmet in the vicinity of the umpire and then got tossed. It came close to hitting him.
